Quandary Hike

Vince and I hiked Quandary Peak over Labor Day weekend. We set out at 6am and summited around 9am. Quandary Peak is a beautiful 14′er that is located a few miles south of Breckenridge. A perfect day of weather, Winnie’s first 14′er, overall a great day! View Pix

Sarah and I took 5mo old Kate down South to Telluride this past weekend for the Bluegrass Festival. We had a great time hangin’ with the Schnells, stayed at a fun hotel called The Peaks instead of camping this year, and saw a ton of good music. View Photos

Hello family and friends!

Gemma and I had the surprise arrival of our daughter Gianna Christie Taylor
on Thursday, February 5th (5 weeks earlier than her due date). She was born
weighing 5 lbs 4 oz, and measured 18 inches in length. Gianna is healthy and
keeping us busy. Thank you to everyone for your support, generosity and
love. We feel so fortunate to have such a nurturing community of family and
friends to help us raise our daughter.

Kathryn Riley Taylor “Kate” was born Wed Jan 21st at 10:54am. She is 6lbs 15oz and 20 1/2in tall. Everything went really smooth, the staff at Rose Medical Center in Denver has been amazing and all of our friends and family have been dropping in to say hello. Thanks to Sandy and Susanna for traveling out here and coaching Winnie on how to behave around Kate.

Jon and Marie’s Wedding

It’s official, Jon and Marie are now “The Schnell’s”! We had an incredible weekend at Devil’s Thumb Ranch near Winter Park, CO. It was great seeing old friends, hitting the spa and watching all the kids go for sleigh rides around the 5,000 acres of white snowy ranch land. View Wedding Photos Slideshow

Mark put together the world premiere of “Don’t Slam the Door”, a song Jon wrote about his experiences at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Jon and Marie have visited Telluride many times and it’s a special place for them (and us too)…

It’s Cold in Denver, brrrr!

Denver had the biggest temperature swing in the US yesterday dropping almost 40 degrees. Here’s a quick video of how our Siamese cat Tyler and Sarah handled the situation.
