It’s official, Jon and Marie are now “The Schnell’s”! We had an incredible weekend at Devil’s Thumb Ranch near Winter Park, CO. It was great seeing old friends, hitting the spa and watching all the kids go for sleigh rides around the 5,000 acres of white snowy ranch land. View Wedding Photos Slideshow

Mark put together the world premiere of “Don’t Slam the Door”, a song Jon wrote about his experiences at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Jon and Marie have visited Telluride many times and it’s a special place for them (and us too)…

Nate sent me this awesome old video footage of Berthoud Pass (Nov 2005)….skiing with Grif, Daddy and Fletch. Checkout Nate’s huge cliff drop 38 seconds into the video. I’ve never seen anyone else hit that cliff at Berthoud.

from Trevor, an old CU buddy of mine: “On 6/14 me and a bunch of bros ran the Source (Middle Boulder Creek) way up past Eldora ski resort. This my helmet cam video of a carnage filled evening. We had a blast and no, no one was hurt : ) ”

This video is so cool, nice work Trevor. For those of you who have never kayaked trust me, this is some sick stuff!

Guten Tag! Mark, Gemma and I had a great trip to Germany for Steffi and Brad’s wedding. A 6 hour ride in the Alps, ultimate frisbee, kegelbahn, a run up Mt Wank, Tour de Hayes, Beer Gardens, Corpus Cristi parade, a stop in NYC to see Jeff A and a run around Central Park…..good trip.

Thrift Store Ski Party

Sarah, Sara and I traveled up the hill to ABasin for the annual Thrift Store Ski Party,
one of the greatest ski parties around. This year the weather was unreal, bluebird Colorado skies and 50 degrees, perfect for a few turns and a few brews.

Dog Bowl Avalanche

from Rob D: Had a little experience yesterday. Triggered a good size slide behind my house in “The Dog Bowl”. Didn’t realize it was sliding until I was in a safe zone at the bottom right. Dogs are lucky they came out as they were well behind me.
