Baby Girl
Sarah and I are having a Baby Girl, due January 15th. Family and Friends are having a shower for Sarah here in Denver on Oct 18th. We are registered at Babies R Us and Pottery Barn Kids.
Our Baby Timeline
8 Weeks – first prenatal appointment, saw the heartbeat, wow!
12 Weeks – Sarah went solo and checked out another ultrasound to verify heartbeat
13 Weeks – first trimester screen ultrasound and blood work…the little baby was doing jumping jacks and dancing around for us on the ultrasound
16 Weeks – Sarah went solo (again) to see Dr. Strubel for a checkup
20 Weeks – just found out we are having a Baby Girl!

24 Weeks – We had a great appointment with lots of questions, registered for birth classes and a tour of Rose.
Sarah’s shower is this weekend….Sandy, Susanna, and Bettie are flying in and lots of our Denver friends will be hanging out on Saturday. Everyone is going to the House of Commons Tea Room for some serious girl time.
28 Weeks - Our next appointment is a week from Thursday in which Sarah gets to drink a disgusting orange liquid to test for Gestational Diabetes. Let the Good Times Roll!
30 Weeks - According to the books, the baby is now 3lbs and growing fast. We had another checkup today and all is well.

32 Weeks – We had our last appointment a week ago with Dr. Fraser, another OB in the practice. Many great gifts have arrived including our crib. Thanks so much everyone!
33 Weeks – Our book tells us that the baby is over 4lbs and growing fast. We are starting to wash and hang up all of the baby clothes in the closet. We bought a cool new camera this week, here’s a neat shot of Sarah.
36 Weeks – We started our weekly appointments this week, so far so good.
38 Weeks – Surprise! Sarah’s amazing co-workers threw her a surprise baby shower and now we have a ton of new gifts for the baby.
40 Weeks – Jan 15th has come and gone! The day we’ve been focused on for months and months was just another typical day of work and errands 
Sandy has arrived and we are anxiously waiting for baby.
Jan 17th – Sarah has had more contractions today and we are looking forward to Susanna arriving from ATL. Dr. Strubel estimates the baby’s size at 7lbs to 7.5lbs.
