Barnard Hut

Mark, Gemma, Marie, Schnell and I began Good Friday by riding the Aspen Gondola to the top and skiing
off the backside of the mountain 5 hours to the Barnard Hut.
Colorado has a great hut system that spans across the state. The huts are really cheap to reserve and are equipped with wood burning stoves and beds. We hiked and skied on Sat, enjoyed some boxed wine, reading, and naps, then navigated (thanks Mark!) through white-out conditions on Easter Sunday 8 hours back to our car. What a day!
